As the name stands, HALO curriculum is design to promote students to (1) have global vision and mindset by exploring global issue, (2) ask integrated and thought-provoking questions to deeply understand problems and ideate creative solutions, (3) learn background knowledge of key technology and apply skills to solve real world problem, and (4) open their potential as an important agent for global innovation and discover power to make global impact.

HALO curriculum uses UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to develop and supplement curriculum topics, which construct solid curriculum objective and integrates STEAM infused project and cross-curricular activities, which are essential to understand technology sand global issues. In addition, HALO curriculum applies SMILE (Stanford Mobile Inquiry-based Learning Environment) to help students to ask their own creative questions and develop critical thinking, and take learning into their hands.

HALO Curriculum learning model aligns with the extended version of Engineering Design Process — Discover, Define, Explore, Ideate, Create, Test, and Evaluate. Thus, throughout the curriculum, students will discover global issues from UN SDG with various perspectives, define the problem to solve by digging into the problem in depth, explore key technologies by investigating current solutions, ideate own creative solution by imagining and planning, and finally make their prototype to test and evaluate their learned skills.
