We
work with several nonprofit organizations through strategic alliances.
A strategic alliance between your organization and Seeds of Empowerment
will involve:
- Creating new programs that support the organization's long-term strategic plan
- Expanding our current projects in your region
- Collaborating and creating customized content to help marginalized communities in your region
- Partnering in research in the field of mobile learning and development
- Sharing resources to innovate and develop mobile devices
- Raising awareness about our projects and our organization
- Raising funds for our projects through your network
- Sponsor:
You can sponsor our projects in entirety or for a specific region. Our
projects need funding starting from needs analyses to pilot to impact
study.
- Collaborate:
We need resources, both human and monetary, for several of our
activities. Your organization can help us by sharing your resources
such as technology, infrastructure, mobile devices, networking,
and employee contributions.
- Fund our research: You fund volunteer efforts for doing research in a specific area.
- Market promotions: You can help us conduct marketing and promotional activities in different regions.
- Region representation: You can represent Seeds of Empowerment in your region and community by:
- Collaborating and helping us conduct our pilots with the help of universities and academic institutions in your area.
- Working on academic research by studying and documenting the impact of pilot projects.
- Collaborating
and partnering with local nonprofits that share a similar vision and
can implement Seeds' projects for their target audience.
- Developing learning material that is customized for your region.
- Conducting marketing and volunteer recruitment activities for your region.
- Volunteer for Seeds:
Seeds of Empowerment is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Your skills
could greatly benefit and add value to the Seeds team. We need help in
the following areas:
- Fundraising: Any contribution to our fundraising activities will be valuable.
- Digital content developers: Help us develop digital content for the various mediums we work with, especially mobile devices.
- Flash developers: We use flash-based content for our mobile devices. You could help us create flash-based modules.
- Smart
phone application developers: We convert the stories we collect into
iPhone and Android applications to share with readers.
- Copy editors: You can help edit stories collected from underserved regions from different countries.
- Design and illustration work: We need designers and illustrators to create images for the stories.
- Writers: We need writers to document our activities and write grant proposals.
- Voiceover experts: Our smart phone apps need voiceovers for the stories.
- Marketing and PR: Help us create awareness about our projects through marketing and public relations activities.
